Knowlton Claims NE10 Rookie of the Week Accolade

Sophomore scored four goals in a loss to 15th-ranked Dominican on Saturday

NO. ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Sophomore Piper Knowlton (Chester, N.H.) of the Southern New Hampshire University women's lacrosse team was chosen as the NE10 Rookie of the Week for the period ending March 1, the league office announced Monday.

Knowlton scored four goals for SNHU in Saturday's 20-10 loss to 15th-ranked Dominican (N.Y.) University.

In two games this season, Knowlton has a team-high eight points on a team-best seven goals and an assist. She also paces the squad with four ground balls.
 
Knowlton and the Penmen (0-2) return to action Wednesday, March 4 (3 p.m.) when they travel to Roberts Wesleyan University.
