- Sophomore Erika Wojcik (North Andover, Mass.) ran a personal-best 2:14.80 in the 800 meters qualifier on the first day of the NEICAAA New England Championships on Friday. Wojcik's time ranked third among the 27 competitors in the event.
- Her mark is just shy of the program record of 2:14.41, set by Jill Couto in 2020.
- The 800 meters final is scheduled for Saturday at approximately 12:55 p.m.
- Also Saturday, senior Hope Sinclair (Hampton, N.H.) is set to compete in the 60 meters preliminaries at 10:55 a.m. Sinclair holds the program record in the 60 meters.
