The SNHU women's track & field team continued its outdoor season on Saturday at the George Davis Invitational, competing against a strong regional field at UMass Lowell. The Northeast 10 Championships are just two weeks away.
TRACK
- Sophomore Hannah Sippel (Chester, N.H.) led the way for the Penmen with a standout performance in the 400 meters, placing third overall with a time of 58.36 seconds. She also added a top-10 finish in the 200 meters, crossing the line in 25.93.
- Freshman Jordyn Wall-Carty (Woodridge, N.Y.) ran a career-best 26.68 in the 200 meters, finishing 16th.
- Freshman Elizabeth Descheneaux (Methuen, Mass.) also turned in a strong day, setting personal records in both the 100 meters (13.89) and 200 meters (28.42).
- Senior Hope Sinclair (Hampton, N.H.) placed 15th in the 400 meters (1:01.24), marking a new personal best.
- Junior Kay Wheelock (Milford, Mass.) led SNHU in the hurdles with a fifth-place finish in the 400-meter hurdles (1:09.34) and also recorded a personal best of 13.30 in the 100 meters.
- Graduate student Corrina Obernesser (Westminster, Colo.) turned in season-best performances in both the 1,500 meters (4:48.78) and 400-meter hurdles (1:10.88), finishing among the top eight in both events.
- Junior Natalie Sicard (Nottingham, N.H.) just missed her personal best while placing fourth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 12:40.48.
FIELD
- Freshman Lindy Moreland (Gorham, Maine) posted one of the top field performances of the day, placing third in the high jump with a clearance of 1.55 meters. She also finished in the top 10 in the 100-meter hurdles (16.28) in her first collegiate appearance in the event.
- Freshman Ciara Pina (Taunton, Mass.) recorded a personal best in the triple jump with a mark of 9.62 meters.
- Senior Brooke Bibbo (Burlington, Mass.) led the throwers with a fifth-place finish in the discus (35.56m). On Friday, she also set a new personal best in the shot put (12.09m).
- Freshman Autumn O'Connor (Hooksett, N.H.) added a personal-best performance in the discus (24.79m), finishing eighth.

- The Penmen are expected to compete at the Wildcat Invitational at the University of New Hampshire in Durham next Saturday, April 25.
