MANCHESTER, N.H. - Kori Chace (East
Providence, RI) totaled 16 kills and two aces to lead visiting
Rivier College to a 3-1 non-conference women's volleyball victory
over Southern New Hampshire University Tuesday night at the SNHU
Fieldhouse. The Raiders evened their record at 5-5 overall,
while the Penmen now stand at 5-4 on the season.
The game scores were 33-31, 30-26,
20-30, 30-21.
Also contributing for Rivier were
Nicole Hersey (Milton, NH) who finished with 14
kills. Lindsay Marshall (Tiverton, RI) added
21 digs and a pair of service aces.
Stephanie
Dluginski (Floral Park, NY) led the Penmen with 12 kills
and four blocks while Casey Stoodley (Salem, NH)
and Briana Doucet (Danville, NH) tallied eight
kills apiece. Doucet also had a team-high 13 digs.
Kelly Scanlon (East Providence, RI) had 20 assists
and 10 digs.
Southern New Hampshire returns to
action Wednesday night when it hosts Franklin Pierce in a
Northeast-10 match. Rivier hosts Keene State on Thursday.
