MANCHESTER, N.H. - Junior Briana Doucet
(Danville, NH) led host Southern New Hampshire University with 10
kills and five digs as the Penmen posted a 3-0 women's volleyball
victory over Keene State College Tuesday night at the SNHU
Fieldhouse. The Penmen, who won by scores of 30-20, 30-25 and
30-25, are now 2-0, while the Owls fall to 3-2 on the season.
Kim Rowe (Exeter,
NH) finished with nine kills and five block assists for SNHU, while
Stephanie Dluginski (Floral Park, NY) added eight
kills and four block assists. Kristin Wilson
(Milton, NH) had 15 digs while Casey Stoodley
(Salem, NH) had 14 digs and five kills. Nicky
Dumond (Tewksbury, MA) had 19 assists and seven digs while
Kelly Scanlon (East Providence, RI) had 15
helpers.
For the Owls, Brittany O'Bryant
(Merrimack, NH) led the way with nine kills, while Carly Newton
(Centerville, MA) added eight. Sarah Peterson (Danville, NH)
finished with 16 digs.
Southern New Hampshire opens
Northeast-10 Conference play Wednesday night when it travels to
UMass Lowell for a 7:00 match. Keene State returns to action
Friday when it participates in the Endicott College Tournament.
