MANCHESTER, N.H. - Maddy Lorenz led visiting Concordia
(NY) College with 11 kills and six digs as the Clippers handed
Southern New Hampshire University its first volleyball loss of the
season by a score of 3-1 Saturday afternoon at the SNHU
Fieldhouse. Concordia improves to 4-3 on the season, while
the Penmen are now 3-1.
The game scores were 27-30, 30-28,
30-27, 30-22.
Tiffany Edwards finished with eight
kills and nine digs for the Clippers, while Amanda Byrd finished
with 16 digs. Shannon Flaherty handed out 24 assists for
Concordia.
Briana Doucet
(Danville, NH) led SNHU with 10 kills and seven digs while
Stephanie Dluginski (Floral Park, NY) had eight
kills and 10 blocks (five solo, five assisted). Kelly
Scanlon (East Providence, RI) had 15 assists while
Nicky Dumond (Tewksbury, MA) contributed 14.
Southern New Hampshire returns to
action Tuesday when it travels to Assumption College for a 7:00
match.
