RIVERHEAD, N.Y. -
Junior Shane Winslow (Portsmouth, NH) finished
with a two-day total of 157 to place in a tie for 30th
overall at the ECAC Division II Men's Golf Championship held at
Long Island National Golf Club Sunday and Monday. As a team
the Penmen finished 14th out of 20 schools.
Winslow was consistent, carding a
79 on day one and a 78 on Monday. Andrew
Maziarz (Cumberland, RI) finished tied for 41st
with a two-day score of 160 (82-78), while D.J.
Lantz (New London, NH) finished with a 165, firing an 83
on Sunday and an 82 on Monday.
John DeVito
(Nashua, NH) finished with a score of 166 (82-84), while
Jeff Newell (Chicopee, MA) bettered his round by
eight strokes, shooting an 83 on Monday to finish with a two-day
total of 174.
SNHU returns to action Sunday and
Monday when it competes at the Northeast-10 Championship at The
Orchards in South Hadley, MA.
