LOWELL, Mass. - Visiting
Southern New Hampshire University posted a 3-2 non-conference
volleyball victory over UMass Lowell on Tuesday night at Costello
Gymnasium. The Penmen, who won their third game in four
outings, improve to 4-6 overall, while the River Hawks are now 6-8
on the season.
The set scores were 17-25, 25-22,
12-25, 25-16, 15-12.
Stephanie
Dluginski (Floral Park, NY) led the Penmen with 14 kills
while also recording nine blocks (four solo, five assists).
Brianna Doucet (Danville, NH) totaled 12 kills and
11 digs, while Allison Murphy (Montague, MA) and
Jamie Rood (Southbury, CT) each had seven
kills. Nicky Dumond (Tewksbury, MA) totaled
20 assists, while Danielle Coffey (Westborough,
MA) had seven blocks (three solo, four assists).
Ashley Dingle (Malone, NY) notched 14 digs.
SNHU returns to Northeast-10 play
Friday night when it hosts The College of Saint Rose in a 7:00
match at the SNHU Fieldhouse.
