Volleyball Drops Two in Florida

WINTER PARK, Fla. - The Southern New Hampshire University volleyball team dropped a pair of matches in Florida Saturday, falling to Florida Tech 3-0 Saturday afternoon and 3-0 to Rollins in an evening match.  The Penmen are now 7-7 overall, while Florida Tech is 9-8 and Rollins 14-8 on the season.

The set scores against FIT were 25-13, 25-20, 30-28, while against the Tars they were 25-14, 25-19, 25-14.

Against the Panthers, Stephanie Dluginski (Floral Park, N.Y.) had a team-high 14 kills while hitting at a .448 clip.  She also notched a pair of block assists.  Danielle Coffey (Westborough, Mass.) totaled seven kills and three blocks, while Kim Rowe (Exeter, N.H.) posted four blocks to go along with four kills.  Lauren Lorenz (Frankfort, Ill.) handed out 14 assists, while Kristin Wilson (Milton, N.H.) added 10.  Caitlin Wilson (Milton, N.H.) totaled 12 digs and Allison Murphy (Montague, Mass.) 10 digs and four kills.

Dluginski had a game-high 11 kills against the Tars, while Murphy added five kills.  Coffey registered five blocks (three solo), while Lorenz notched nine assists and Kristin Wilson eight.  Lorenz also added 11 digs, while Caitlin Wilson notched a team-high 12 digs defensively.

Southern New Hampshire returns to Northeast-10 play Tuesday night when it hosts American International College for a 7:00 match.
