0-13 from the floor.
The Penmen held the Purple Knights
to just 16.4% (9-55) shooting for the game. It marks the

over Saint Anselm two weeks ago. SNHU also held a 42-39
rebounding advantage.

once, 3-2, 45 seconds into the game, and the Penmen would open up a
17-7 lead with 11:49 left in the first half following a
conventional three-point play by Carrington. The Penmen, who
held the Purple Knights to just four field goals in the first half,
including one in the final 9:17 of the frame, used an 8-0 run to
open up a 27-10 lead on a putback by Andrea Lozeau
(Pelham, N.H.) with 5:04 left. SNHU took a 32-17 lead into
the locker room following a three-pointer by Libby
Cullerot (Henniker, N.H.) at the buzzer.
The Penmen extended their lead to
40-21 4:45 into the second half on a layup by Carrington, their
largest lead of the game. Saint Michael's would try to climb
back into the game by holding SNHU to one point in an 11-minute
span, and a pair of free throw by Keller with 6:03 left made it
41-30. The Purple Knights, however, would get no closer,
hitting just one three-pointer and a pair of free throws the rest
of the way.
Southern New Hampshire travels to
No. 21 Stonehill College for a 1:30 contest on Saturday.
