Cullerot, a junior, connected on six of her eight three-point attempts and was 7-10 overall from the floor.  Sorrell, a freshman, also grabbed a career-best 13 rebounds as she was 9-12 from the floor.  Jenny McDade (Derry, N.H.) added 18 points and seven rebounds for the Penmen, while Magdala Johnson (Sandown, N.H.) and Megan Spanarkel (Tinton Falls, N.J.) each totaled seven points.  Christine Duffy (South Boston, Mass.) handed out seven assists and did not commit a turnover.

Casey Miller led four Merrimack players in double figures with 17 points, while Taneka Brown added 12 points.  Gennifer Roy scored 11 points before fouling out, while Tiffany Colon notched 10 points.

The two teams traded the lead four times in the opening minutes before Southern New Hampshire took control with a 10-0 run capped by a Morgan Munson (Rockhampton, Queensland, Australia) layup at the 13:31 mark that made it 17-9.  Cullerot canned a pair of three-pointers during the run.  The Penmen took their largest lead of the first half, 31-18, with 3:20 left on a three by Deborah LaValley (Rochester, N.H.), but Merrimack responded with 10 unanswered points and cut the lead to three with nine seconds left before the break on a Miller three.  McDade nailed a three-pointer at the buzzer to put SNHU up 34-28 at halftime.

SNHU opened the second half on a 10-4 run to take a 44-32 lead with just over 17 minutes to play on a three by Erin Baldwin (Fairhaven, Mass.).  The Penmen would maintain a double-digit advantage the rest of the way, taking their largest lead with 2:54 to play on a pair of free throws by Johnson.

The Penmen held the Warriors to 33.3% shooting in the first half and 34.8% for the game and outrebounded their guests 45-44.  Southern New Hampshire drained a season-high 10 three-pointers and saw nine of the 10 players who appeared in the game record at least two points.

Southern New Hampshire is idle until Sunday, December 20, when it hosts Assumption College in a 1:00 non-league game at the SNHU Fieldhouse.
