MANCHESTER, N.H. - Danielle
Coffey (Westborough, Mass.) totaled 11 kills and and five
blocks (three solo) to lead Southern New Hampshire University to a
3-0 win over Rivier College in women's volleyball Monday night at
the SNHU Fieldhouse. The Penmen, who have not dropped a set
this season, improved to 4-0, while the Raiders are now 3-5 on the
season.
The set scores were 25-21, 25-19,
25-20.
Coffey was successful on 11 of her
14 attack attempts without an error for a .786 hitting percentage.
Stephanie Dluginski (Floral Park, N.Y.)
totaled eight kills, eight digs and four blocks (two solo), while
Erica Solomon (Islip Terrace, N.Y.) added six
kills. Lauren Lorenz (Frankfort, Ill.)
handed out 24 assists for Southern New Hampshire, while
Caitlin Wilson (Milton, N.H.) added seven digs.
Nicole Rodriguez led Rivier with
seven kills on the evening while Lindsay Chace added six kills.
Lauren Saccoccio handed out 23 assists for the Raiders.
Southern New Hampshire returns to
action Saturday when it hosts Felician and Saint Michael's in a
tri-match. The Penmen face Felician at 11:00 am, while they
battled the Purple Knights at 3:00.
