COMPLETE RESULTS
RIVERHEAD, N.Y.
– Junior D.J. Lantz (New London, N.H.)
finished third overall as he led the Southern New Hampshire
University golf team to a 10th place finish at the Peter
King Memorial at Long Island National Golf Course Friday and
Saturday.
Lantz, who finished in a tie for
third with Luke Walters of host Dowling College, shot a 75 on
Friday and a 73 on Saturday to finish two strokes behind medalist
Greg Strattner of American International College, who carded a 146
for the two-day event.
Shane Winslow
(Portsmouth, N.H.) was the next highest Penmen finisher, coming in
28th overall with a two-day score of 161.
Jeff Atkinson (Lancaster, N.H.) fired an 82 on day
two and posted a two-day total of 168 to finish
38th. Matt Reims (Cheshire,
Conn.) and Nick Ricci (Andover, Mass.) finished
tied for 56th with identical 177 scores.
The Southern New Hampshire
University golf team returns to action Wednesday when it travels to
the one-day Mike Bello Invitational at En-Joie Golf Course in
Endicott, N.Y.
