COMPLETE RESULTS
DRACUT, Mass.
– Led by a sixth-place finish by junior D.J.
Lantz (New London, N.H.), the Southern New Hampshire
University golf team finished seventh out of 13 schools at the
River Hawk Invitational Saturday and Sunday at Meadow Creek Golf
Club. The Penmen posted a two-day total of 649, while
Division I Bryant University, the tournament champion, carded a
599.
Lantz carded a 76 on day one and
fired a 75 on Sunday. Matt Reims (Cheshire,
Conn.) had the best showing of his freshman season, posting a
two-day score of 157 to place tied for 20th
overall. Jeff Atkinson (Lancaster, N.H.)
finished in 49th with a 169.
Shane Wins low
(Portsmouth, N.H.) finished in a tie for 54th with a
172, while Nick Ricci (Andover, Mass.) finished
with a 182 to place 64th.
The SNHU golf team wraps up its
regular season Monday and Tuesday at the AIC Yellow Jacket
Invitational.
