MANCHESTER, N.H.
– The Southern New Hampshire University men's
tennis team fell to Saint Anselm College by a score of 5-4 Thursday
evening. The Hawks improve to 6-3 overall and within the
Northeast-10 and the Penmen fall to 0-10 overall and conference
play.
Jared Wright (Norwell,
Mass.) and Tim
Hamilton (Hampton, N.H.) combined to defeat their
Hawks opponents in the No. 1 doubles matchup of the evening,
staking claim to a 8-3 victory. Hamilton, John Niland (Cheshire,
Conn.), and Brendan Hussey
(Barnstead, N.H.) also won their respective singles matchups.
The Penmen return to action Friday
afternoon as they take on Saint Michael's College in a 3:00
p.m. tilt.
