BREWSTER, Mass.
– The Southern New Hampshire University golf team
finished tied for 20th out of 34 schools at the New
England Intercollegiate Golf Association (NEIGA) Championship held
Monday and Tuesday at The Captains Golf Course.
Freshman Ernie
Lupi (Bradford, Mass.) led the Penmen as he finished tied
for 32nd overall out of 169 players with a two-day score
of 155. He fired a 77 on day one and a day two Tuesday.
Vince Kimball (Lebanon, N.H.) tied for
48th overall, following up a 76 on Monday with an 81 on
day two. James Hickey (Manchester, N.H.)
posted rounds of 79 and 80 to finish tied for 64th.
Nick Burke
(Sandwich, Mass.) registered a two-day score of 170 to finished
T-132, while Matt Reims (Cheshire, Conn.) was
T-155th with a score of 179.
The NEIGA Championship closed out
SNHU's fall season.
