THE PENMEN: Southern New Hampshire dropped a 3-2 decision to Le Moyne on Saturday...junior Erica Solomon led the team with 16 kills in the loss...sophomore Megan Lesczynski leads the team in kills on the season with 174 and has also added 184 digs...senior Danielle Coffey ranks second on the squad in kills with 161 and leads the team in blocks with 91...Coffey is averaging 1.34 blocks per game, good for the top spot in the Northeast-10 Conference...Solomon has now totaled 158 kills and 173 digs...freshman setter Kendra Mikuta has dished out 403 assists...junior Emily Winters started in the setter slot over the weekend and tallied 18 assists to boost her season total to 160...sophomore Peyton Williams has posted a team-best 253 digs...sophomore Ashlee Daoust has added 102 kills and 134 digs this season and leads the team in aces with 24...the Penmen are averaging 9.97 kills per game.
THE PURPLE KNIGHTS: Saint Michael's has dropped their last two games to New Haven and So. Connecticut...the last win for the Purple Knights was on Oct. 18 against Franklin Pierce...Chelsey Covitz leads the team in kills with 253 and in blocks with 63...she also has a team-best kills per game average of 2.75 and in service aces with 40...Katie Walsh ranks second on the team in kills with 212...she also has a team second-best 222 digs...Tracy Peterka has totaled 206 kills and 182 digs for the Purple Knights this season...Samantha Clairemont has tallied 55 blocks on the season...Courtney Dunne leads Saint Michael's with 306 digs...Jess McLeod has dished out a team-best 750 assists...the Purple Knights are averaging 10.53 kills per game while holding their opponents to 9.90 kills per game.
