MANCHESTER, N.H. – Southern New Hampshire University posted a 9-0 win over Saint Anselm College in Northeast-10 men's tennis at the Saint Anselm courts Sunday morning. The Penmen improved to 5-5 overall and 5-1 in the NE-10 with the victory, while the Hawks remain searching for their first win, as they are 0-4 overall and in the league.
The Penmen dropped 12 games en route to sweeping the six singles matches. Juan Arango-Campo (Armenia Quindio, Colombia) was a 6-0, 6-0 winner at No. 2 singles, while Mitchell Dobek (Westfield, Mass.) was a 6-1, 6-3 winner at No. 1. Alex Mukdaprakorn (Hartford, Conn.) was a 6-1, 6-1 winner at No. 3, while Jared Wright (Norwell, Mass.) was a 6-3, 6-0 winner at No. 4. Tim Hamilton (Hampton, N.H.) and John Niland (Cheshire, Conn.) were victorious at No. 5 and No. 6, respectively.
SNHU returns to action Saturday when it hosts Adelphi University in an 11:00 am match.
