RIVERHEAD, N.Y. – The Southern New Hampshire University golf team competed at the Peter King Memorial held Saturday and Sunday at Long Island National Golf Course.  The Penmen placed 13^th overall.

Sophomore Jeff Atkinson (Lancaster, N.H.) and freshman Chris Weilandt (Franklin, Mass.) were the highest finishers for SNHU, tying for 48^th with a two-day score of 170.  Freshman Spencer Plante (Springvale, Maine) finished one stroke behind the pair with a 171.  Vince Kimball (Lebanon, N.H.) (180) and Matt Reims (Cheshire, Conn.) (183) rounded out the SNHU team.

The SNHU golf team returns to action on April 8-9 when it travels to the Mike Bello Invitational in Endicott, N.Y.
