– The Southern New Hampshire University golf team
finished ninth at the Northeast-10 Championship that concluded
Monday afternoon at En-Joie Golf Club. After an opening-round
313, the Penmen posted a score of 324 on Monday.
Scott Underhill
(Bedford, N.H.) was SNHU's top finished in the championship,
recording a two-day total of 157 to place tied for 17th
overall. Vince Kimball (Lebanon, N.H.)
posted SNHU's lowest score on day two (78) and finished tied
for 24th with a 158, while Ernie Lupi
(Bradford, Mass.) notched a 159.
Nick Burke
(Sandwich, Mass.) posted a two-day total of 165, while Cody
Carlson (Wellesley, Mass.) improved by seven strokes on
Monday, carding an 82 and finishing with a 171 over two days.
The Southern New Hampshire
University golf team returns to action October 12-13 when it
travels to the Saint Rose Invitational in Guilderland, N.Y.
