Box Score MANCHESTER, N.H.- The Southern New Hampshire men's lacrosse team lost 12-0 Friday afternoon in a Northeast-10 conference matchup against No. 2 Le Moyne College. The Penmen remain winless on the season with an overall record 0-4 and 0-2 in the NE-10, while Le Moyne improves to a 6-0 overall record and 2-0 in the conference.
The Dolphins scoring was started by Andrew Chadderdon who netted the first goal of the game late in the first quarter from a Tyler Prevost assist. Nick Blumer would score the second goal for LeMoyne just two minutes later, quickly followed by a Conor Regin goal just seconds after.
The Dolphins netted three goals in the first quarter and continued to put the ball in the net during the second quarter, scoring seven times to take the 10-0 lead at halftime. Prevost was responsible for three, while Taylor Brooks collected two goals.
Andrew Chadderdon would score his second goal of the game and the lone goal of the third quarter to push the lead to 11-0, and Matt Klepper would close out the game with another goal, finalizing the score at 12-0.
The Penmen were led by John Cuozzo (Norfolk, Mass.), who had eight shots, six of which were on goal.
In net for the Penmen were Brendan O'Brien (Hopkinton, Mass.) who made five saves in 30 minutes of play, and Crosby Nicholson (Andover, Mass.) who contributed six saves for SNHU. The Dolphins shared the net with three players. Jeff White, Matt Krupka, and Connor Smart who made five, one, and seven saves respectively. Southern New Hampshire was outshot 37-20 on the afternoon.
The Penmen return to action when they host No. 11 Saint Anselm College on Tuesday March 27, in a conference matchup at 7:00 p.m.
