GOFFSTOWN, N.H. – The Southern New Hampshire men's tennis team opened its 2013 spring season Saturday night when they defeated the University of Hartford by a score of 5-4 at the Allard Center. The Penmen improve to 5-0 overall, while the Hawks are now 0-6.
The Penmen won the first three singles competitions including a 6-1, 6-2 win from Mitch Dobek (Westfield, Mass.) in the No. 1 spot. Southern New Hampshire would win two out of three matches in doubles play to secure the win.
SNHU returns to action tonight when it hosts the College of Holy Cross for a 7:00 p.m. match at the Allard Center.
