ONSET BEACH, Mass.
– The Southern New Hampshire University golf team finished
sixth out of nine schools at the Bentley Cape Cod Classic, a
one-day, 36-hole event at the Bay Pointe Club. The Penmen
carded a 311 in the opening round then posted a score of 330 over
the final 18 holes.
The Penmen were led by
Scott Underhill (Bedford, N.H.) who posted rounds
of 76 and 77 to finished tied for eighth overall.
Austin Fox (Hooksett, N.H.) shot a 72 in the
opening round and finished with a two-round score of 157 to tie for
16th. Vince Kimball (Lebanon,
N.H.) shot an 81 over the final 18 holes and finished with a
two-round score of 166.
Ernie Lupi
(Bradford, Mass.) and Cody Carlson (Wellesley,
Mass.) each finished with a two-round score of 169, with Carlson
carding an 81 and Lupi an 82 over the first 18 holes.
Southern New Hampshire returns to
action April 5-6 when it travels to Long Island National Golf
Course for the Peter King Memorial.
