THE PENMEN: The Penmen are coming off a four-game series with Stonehill College this past weekend where they went 3-1...Kate Stanley compiled four homeruns in the series and has a team-best nine...the senior is batting .276 on the season and leads the team in RBIs with 28...Cara Daly also contributed three homeruns on the weekend and is batting .373, while Kelsea Cheney is batting .386 including 32 hits, 13 runs, and 17 RBIs...Ali Maloof leads the team with a .407 batting average and a team-best nine doubles and two triples...the sophomore also leads the pitching staff with a 9-3 record including 117 strikeouts and a 2.20 era...Dolores Mattice has posted a 2.75 era in the circle for the Penmen along with 62 strikeouts in 61 innings pitched...the junior posts a 7-2 record on the season.
THE HAWKS: Saint Anselm split with UMass Lowell on Saturday...Nicole Boucher leads the team with a .351 batting average along with 22 RBIs, six homeruns, and 34 hits...Julie LeClair is batting .324 on the season with 18 runs, 24 hits, and 17 RBIs...Paige Cormier leads the pitching staff with a 2.17 era...she has 40 strikeouts in 87 innings pitched and has allowed 34 runs...Tayla Trask has a 2.93 era in the circle for the Hawks while totaling a team-best 94 strikeouts in 102 innings pitched.
HEAD TO HEAD: SNHU is 32-38 all-time against Saint Anselm. Last season SNHU swept the Hawks at home by scores of 4-3 and 3-0.
