THE PENMEN: The Penmen split with Saint Anselm this past Wednesday...senior Kate Stanley has compiled a .279 batting average with a team-high 36 RBIs and a conference second-best 10 homeruns...Ali Maloof leads the team with a .391 batting average...the sophomore has a team high 10 doubles and two triples, along with a team-high and conference second-best 185 strikeouts..Dolors Mattice posts a 2.21 era in the circle for the Penmen with 101 strikeouts.

THE RIVER HAWKS: UMass Lowell is coming off a tie against Bentley this week...sophomore Abby Jamieson is leading the River Hawks and is third in the conference with a .644 batting average...Ariana Darcy is batting .564  with seven doubles, six triples, five homeruns and a team-high 40 runners batted in...Marielle Handley has a 2.29 era in the circle while totaling a team-best 120 strikeouts...the pitching staff has compiled a 2.39 era.

HEAD TO HEAD: SNHU is 14-43 all-time against UMass Lowell. Last season SNHU split with the River Hawks with scores of 6-3 and 5-6.

WHAT'S NEXT: The Penmen return to action tomorrow Saturday, April 27 when they host UMass Lowell again for a conference doubleheader at 5:00 and 7:00 p.m.
