MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Southern New Hampshire University men's tennis team blanked Saint Anselm College by a score of 9-0 Wednesday afternoon at the SNHU courts. The Penmen improved to 2-0 overall and in Northeast-10 play, while the Hawks are 0-2 overall and in the league.
Southern New Hampshire surrendered just two games as it swept doubles action, while five of six singles matches were also decided by either 6-0, 6-0 or 8-0 scores. The Penmen allowed a total of five game wins for the Hawks in the match.
SNHU returns to action Saturday when it travels to Le Moyne College for an 11:00 am match. The next Penmen home date is Sunday, September 29, as Southern New Hampshire takes on Post University in a 2:00 non-conference tilt.
