NORTHHAMPTON, Mass. - The Southern New
Hampshire men's cross country team placed eighth in its opening
meet at the Smith College Invitational Saturday
afternoon.
Crossing the finish line first for the Penmen, was freshman
Jacob Wormald (Pelham, N.H.). Wormald placed 43rd
overall, and completed the 5k with a 17:55 time.
Joshua Szymanski (Sewickley, Pa.) was the second
finisher for SNHU, clocking in just a minute after Wormald
with a 18:44 time for 79th place.
The Penmen return to action September 21 when they
compete at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational.
