WESTFIELD, Mass. – Led by freshman Tyler McLaren's (Pepperell, Mass.) seventh-place finish, the Southern New Hampshire University men's cross country team placed fourth at the 19th Annual James Earley Invite at Westfield State University on Saturday. The race consisted of 37 teams and 388 student-athletes.
McLaren was the first Penmen across the line for the third consecutive meet after registering a time of 26:25, which is the third-fastest 8K time in SNHU men's cross country history. Classmate Andrew Tuttle (Alton, N.H.) completed the course in 26:47 to finish No. 22 overall, good enough for fourth all-time in school history.
