1989 MEN'S SOCCER ROSTER
On December 3, 1989, 25 years ago Wednesday, then-New Hampshire College captured its first NCAA Division II national championship in men's soccer with a 3-1 win over UNC Greensboro in Greensboro, North Carolina. Ike Ofoje scored the first goal for the Penmen, while sophomore Archie Harlow netted a pair of tallies. Adam Gillan made a pair of saves in goal.
Above are highlights and interviews with members of the squad along with head coach John Rootes that aired on WMUR 25 years ago. The 1989 men's soccer team became the first team inducted into the SNHU Athletic Hall of Fame, earning the honor in 2008.
