THE MATCHUP: Southern New Hampshire hosts Stonehill for its annual "Penmen Pink Day" for breast cancer awareness on Saturday afternoon.

THE COACHES: Karen Pinkos is in her ninth season as head coach at Southern New ­Hampshire...Pinkos has led the Penmen to six Northeast-10 Tournament berths in her first eight seasons and to the program's most victories since 1991 in 2011-12 while guiding SNHU to an 19-10 mark...she has compiled a 109-138 record with the Penmen...Trisha Brown is in her 13th season at Stonehill...Brown has led the Skyhawks to eight NCAA Tournament appearances while compiling a 260-119 (.686) career record.

THE SERIES: Stonehill holds a 34-11 lead in the all-time series with Southern New Hampshire and has won the last three meetings...the Skyhawks took a 71-62 win over the Penmen in Easton, Mass. earlier this season...Stonehill held a 33-28 halftime lead and opened it to as many as 15 before a late Penmen run drew the guests within six with just under five minutes to go...Mary Louise Dixon led the Skyhawks with 21 points, nine assists, six rebounds and six steals while Amra Elezovic's 21 points led SNHU...Kaylea Griffin and Erin Doherty each finished with eight points.

THE PENMEN: Southern New Hampshire saw a late rally at Franklin Pierce fall short Tuesday, dropping a 64-60 decision to the Ravens...sophomore Erin Doherty leads the Penmen in scoring at 11.5 points per game while grabbing 5.7 rebounds per contest...she is shooting 47.7% from the floor and has posted four double-doubles on the season...she had a career-high 27 points last Saturday at Merrimack...Brooke Springfield is scoring at an 9.3 ppg clip and is handing out 3.5 assists per game...she has reached double figures in the scoring column in six of the last seven games...Lorreta Rocha is adding 9.0 points and 4.7 rebounds per game...she matched a career high with 17 points Tuesday night...freshman Sara Ryan has a team-high 27 three-pointers and is scoring 8.1 ppg, while Bianca Langford is adding 6.4 points and a team-best 6.1 rebounds per game...the Penmen are shooting .386 overall, .256 behind the arc and .690 at the free throw line while opponents shoot .400 overall and .293 from three...SNHU is getting outscored 67.2-61.0 and outrebounded 40.4-39.5.

THE SKYHAWKS: Stonehill saw a five-game win streak go by the boards Tuesday night in a 79-71 loss at Assumption...Mary Louise Dixon leads three Skyhawks averaging double figures with her 16.4 ppg average...she is also averaging 6.2 assists and 5.2 rebounds per game...Amy Pelletier has knocked down 70 three-pointers on 44.3% shooting behind the arc and is averaging 14.9 ppg, while Tori Faieta is shooting 54.2% from the floor and adding 14.3 points and a team-best 8.1 rebounds per game...Stonehill is shooting .449 overall, .383 behind the arc and .744 at the free throw line while opponents shoot .430 overall and .316 from three...the Skyhawks are scoring 77.9 ppg while allowing 68.1, and outrebounding foes 37.3-35.0.

WHAT'S NEXT: SNHU welcomes unbeaten and No. 1 Bentley to the Fieldhouse on Wednesday night before traveling to Saint Michael's next Saturday.
