HUMACAO, P.R. – The Southern New Hampshire University men's tennis team upped its record to 3-0 on its Puerto Rico spring break trip with a 9-0 with over the University of Puerto Rico-Humacao Tuesday morning. The Penmen upped their record to 9-2 with the victory.
The Penmen took a 3-0 lead after doubles play. At No. 3 doubles, Connor Craig (West Warwick, R.I.) and Dragomir Zivanovic (Belgrade, Serbia) teamed up for the first time and recorded an 8-0 triumph. In singles play, Craig saw his first action of the season and recorded a 6-2, 6-1 victory at No. 6 to complete the SNHU sweep.
Southern New Hampshire wraps up its spring break trip on Wednesday when it takes on Puerto Rico-Mayaguez. The Penmen return home on Sunday, March 9, when they host the University of Southern Maine in a 4:30 contest at the Allard Center in Goffstown, N.H.
