D2BaseballNews.com Summer All-America Team
MANCHESTER, N.H. – Senior Mike Mastroberti (Ramsey, N.J.) of the Southern New Hampshire University baseball team was named to the D2BaseballNews.com Summer All-America team released Friday as a Second Team selection. Mastroberti spent the summer with the Seacoast Mavericks of the Futures Collegiate Baseball League (FCBL).
Mastroberti finished fourth in the NECBL with a .348 batting average with two home runs and 15 runs batted in. He was selected to the 2014 FCBL All-Star Game in July. Mastroberti compiled a 10-game hit streak early in the season and finished with 16 multi-hit games.
This past season for Southern New Hampshire, Mastroberti was one of five players to start all 55 games, batting .270 with 33 runs batted in en route to Northeast-10 Third Team All-Conference honors.
