THE PENMEN: Southern New Hampshire clamped down for a 61-30 win over Concordia (N.Y.) Saturday...Vic Wiseman leads the Penmen in scoring (11.8 ppg) and rebounding (6.6 rpg) while coming off the bench...she is shooting 48.3% from the floor...Erin Doherty is averaging 8.9 points and 5.8 rebounds per game, while Brooke Springfield is also scoring at an 8.9 ppg clip...she leads the team in assists (2.8 apg) and is grabbing 4.6 rebounds per outing...Sara Ryan has knocked down a team-high 28 three-pointers and is adding 8.7 ppg, while Catherine Stinson is adding 7.1 points and 3.8 rebounds per game.

HEAD COACH KAREN PINKOS: Karen Pinkos enters her 10th season as women's basketball coach at SNHU...a 1988 graduate of the University of New Hampshire who was an assistant at the Division I level for 16 years prior to coming to SNHU, Pinkos has guided the Penmen to six NE-10 Tournament appearances and won her 100th career game in the 2012-13 season.

THE PANTHERS: Adelphi, coming off a loss at Assumption, was ranked No. 7 nationally last week...the Panthers are led by Kelly Mannix, who is averaging 17.5 points and 9.8 rebounds per game while shooting 54.5% from the floor...Anh-Dao Tran, a transfer from New Haven, is adding 15.4 points and 5.2 assists per game, while Calli Balfour is scoring at a 13.3 ppg clip.

WHAT'S NEXT: SNHU hits the road for its next two games against Le Moyne and New Haven before returning home on Wednesday, February 4 to host Saint Anselm.

NEWS AND NOTES: The 30 points allowed to Concordia on Saturday are a program record...the previous record low of 33 points allowed was set in November of 2009 against Saint Anselm...December 10's win over nationally-ranked Assumption was the first win for the Penmen over a nationally-ranked foe since the 2011-12 season...Wiseman leads all bench players in the Northeast-10 in scoring...SNHU is 10-0 this season when scoring at least 60 points.
