Nutter -3 En Route to Saint Rose Medalist Honors

Southern New Hampshire (300) – 2nd/12

Jake Nutter (Bedford, N.H.) of the Southern New Hampshire men's golf team shot a three-under 68 to take medalist honors at the Saint Rose Fall Shootout Saturday.  The Penmen finished second out of 12 teams, two shots back of team champion Roberts Wesleyan College, which posted a 298.  The event was shortened to one round after Friday's first round was rained out.

Nutter finished first at a tournament for the sixth time in his collegiate career as he bested three players tied for second at even-par 71.

Gavin Dugas (Pittsfield, Maine) and Joshua LaCasse (Bow, N.H.) finished tied for 14th with a score of 77, while John Clancy (Sandwich, Mass.) carded a 78.  Etienne Bourgoin (Abington, Mass.) rounded out the Penmen finishers with an 80.

Notes:
 - Le Moyne College (306), Bentley University (311) and Franklin Pierce University (318) rounded out the top five.
 - SNHU has finished first or second in each of its first four events this season.  

What's Next:

SNHU returns to action Sunday and Monday at the Franklin Pierce Shootout at Bretwood Golf Course in Keene, N.H.
