Notes: Southern New Hampshire University begins its quest for a fourth straight Northeast-10 Championship with a quarterfinal matchup Tuesday at 7 p.m. against Saint Michael's College on Larkin Field. The Penmen earned the No. 1 seed in the tournament with a 12-1-0 conference record during the regular season, including a convincing 4-0 victory against Saint Michael's on Oct. 21. Southern New Hampshire looks to continue rolling after defeating Assumption College, 6-1, and Southern Connecticut State University, 3-0, last week ... freshman Claude Diesse (Brossard, Quebec) garnered NE-10 Rookie of the Week honors for his performances in the 2-0 week for the Penmen, tallying two goals and an assist. A Southern New Hampshire win would advance them to the semifinal round Friday, Nov. 6 against the winner of fourth-seeded Bentley University and fifth-seeded Southern Connecticut.

Junior Aaron DaCosta (Newark, Del.) leads Saint Michael's in scoring with six goals and three assists, while senior Nicco Roque (Miami, Fla.) has seen the majority of time in net, compiling a .743 save percentage and three shutouts in 13 games. The Purple Knights look to get back on track and into the semifinals after dropping their last two games of the regular season to Saint Rose (2-1) and Merrimack (3-0).
