COMPLETE NORTHEAST-10 RELEASE
MANSFIELD, Mass. – Freshman Catherine Stinson (Lynn, Mass.) of the Southern New Hampshire University women's basketball team was named to the 2015 Northeast-10 Conference All-Rookie Team, it was announced by the conference office Thursday afternoon.
Stinson, a 5-7 guard, was one of two players to start all 28 games for the Penmen in 2014-15. The Lynn English HS product averaged 6.7 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game while knocking down 21 three-pointers on the season. A one-time NE-10 Rookie of the Week, Stinson reached double figures in scoring on six occasions, including a career-best 14 points in a win over Merrimack College on January 3. Stinson also hit a buzzer-beating three-pointer as time expired in a 65-64 double overtime victory against Franklin Pierce University on February 10.
Southern New Hampshire finished the 2014-15 season 11-17 overall.
