BALDWINSVILLE, N.Y. – Jake Nutter's (Bedford, N.H.) round one score of 72 on Sunday currently owns a share of the lead at Le Moyne's Mike Bello Spring Invitational at Timber Banks Golf Club. Nutter shares his top spot with Le Moyne's John Clare as the field heads into the second and final round on Monday. Nutter's -4 on par 5 holes leads all competitors with Nutter's eagle being the only one of the day. Southern New Hampshire men's golf finished the day third in the standings out of 12 teams, posting a team score of 315.
John Clancy (Sandwich, Mass.) and Ernie Lupi (Haverhill, Mass.) share the 14th spot in the standings after each shot an opening round 80. Joshua LaCasse (Bow, N.H.) and Austin Fox (Hooksett, N.H.) were the other two Penmen golfers in action, shooting an 83 and 87, respectively.
