NASHPORT, Ohio – Senior Austin Fox (Hooksett, N.H.) led the Southern New Hampshire University men's golf team in the first round of the NCAA Atlantic/East Regional Monday at Longaberger Golf Club. Fox shot an 80 at the par-72, 7141-yard layout to sit in a tie for 34th overall. As a team, the Penmen shot 337, good for 19th of 20 teams.
Josh Lacasse (Bow, N.H.) shot an 84 for SNHU, while Jake Nutter (Bedford, N.H.) carded an 85. John Clancy (Sandwich, Mass.) (88) and Ernie Lupi (Bradford, Mass.) (89) rounded out the Southern New Hampshire contingent in the opening round.
