Pace would slice its deficit down to six about a half-minute later, but an 8-0 blitz – highlighted by a Stinson trey – would give SNHU its largest lead of the contest at 45-31 with 33 ticks on the clock. The Penmen would lead, 47-33, after three.
Dodge opened the final frame with a personal 7-2 run that pulled Pace to within 49-40 with 2:55 remaining.
