Score: Southern New Hampshire University (293), T-1st/16
Freshman Matt Paradis (Hooksett, N.H.) fired a 72 on Monday to pace the Southern New Hampshire University men's golf team as it finds itself in a three-way tie atop the leaderboard after one round of the Barton Intercollegiate, hosted by Barton College.
The Penmen totaled a 293 along with the University of Mount Olive and McDaniel College.
Paradise is tied for third after his even-par round and is just two shots back of the leader.
Senior Jake Nutter (Bedford, N.H.) and junior John Clancy (Sandwich, Mass.) are both tied for sixth place after rounds of one-over 83. Freshman Gavin Dugas (Pittsfield, Maine) rounded out the scorers for SNHU with a 75 that places him in a tie for 18th overall.
Notes:
- The Barton Intercollegiate is comprised of 89 student-athletes from 17 institutions.
- Sophomore Joshua LaCasse (Bow, N.H.) is tied for 42nd after carding a 78.
- If the Penmen can hang on and snap the three-way tie for first, it will be their fourth tournament title of the season.

The Penmen are back in action Tuesday, March 15 for the final round of the Barton Intercollegiate.
