Score: Southern New Hampshire University (600), 4th/15
Freshman Matt Paradis (Hooksett, N.H.) fired an even-par 72 Monday to finish in a tie for second overall as the Southern New Hampshire University men's golf team placed fourth at Le Moyne College's Mike Bello Spring Invitational at Timber Banks Golf Club.
After totaling a 304 Sunday, the Penmen shot 296 Monday to finish with a 600, just five strokes back of Concordia (N.Y.) College, which won the tournament.
Senior Jake Nutter (Bedford, N.H.) carded a two-over 74, adding to Sunday's 75 for a two-day total of 149, which put him in a tie for fifth.
Sophomore Joshua LaCasse (Bow, N.H.) tied for 18th following Monday's round of 75 and a two-day total of 152. Freshman Gavin Dugas (Pittsfield, Maine) improved on his Sunday round by three strokes to finish in a tie for 23rd with a 153 (78/75).
Notes:
- Junior John Clancy (Sandwich, Mass.) shot a 79 to tie for 53rd with a 161.
- Le Moyne's Mike Bello Spring Invitational was comprised of 87 student-athletes from 15 institutions.
What's Next:
The Penmen will make their third straight NCAA Tournament appearance at the NCAA Division II Atlantic/East Regional on May 2-4 right back at Timber Banks.
