Senior Mo Hannan (Scarborough, Maine) homered and drove in two runs for the second consecutive game, but a walk-off shot by Audrey Bianco lifted Franklin Pierce University to a 6-5, extra innings victory over Southern New Hampshire University in Northeast-10 Conference softball action at the Bisaccia Softball Complex on Monday.

After the Ravens scored twice in the bottom of the sixth inning to tie the game at five, Bianco connected on her first long ball of the season to provide the hosts with a 6-5 triumph.

The Penmen opened the scoring with three runs in the top half of the first. Hannan led off with a single and after moving up on a groundout, she was driven in by freshman Erin Garczynski (Norwood, Mass.). Two batters later, sophomore Sarah Lavallee (Candia, N.H.) drilled a two-run shot to right that made it 3-0.

Franklin Pierce trimmed the deficit to pair in the third on a base hit by Erin Wood that plated Courtney Caputo, and the Ravens made it a one-run game in the fourth on a solo shot by Jaclyn Cortese.

Hannan got both runs back on one swing in the sixth, as she smacked a two-run homer to make it 5-2 heading into the home half of the inning.

In the bottom of the frame, Franklin Pierce was able to capitalize off a Southern New Hampshire error to push across three runs and knot the score. Wood reached on the fielding miscue before a base hit by Cortese two batters later put runners on first and second with one away. Morgan Cahill singled to load the bases before Jillian Ostrander followed with an RBI base knock to cut the Penmen lead to a pair. After a fielder's choice kept the bases full with two outs, Madison Ryan drove in the fourth Ravens' run of the game before Samantha Bonvino worked a walk to force in the tying run.

Hannan finished 2-for-4 with two RBI and two runs scored, while Lavallee also turned in a 2-for-4 afternoon and drove in a pair of runs. Lavallee tossed the first 5.1 innings of Monday's contest and was charged with five runs, only two of which were earned, on eight hits with four strikeouts. Junior Nicole Gubellini (Salem, N.H.) suffered the setback in the circle after surrendering the walk-off blast. Gubellini worked 1.2 innings, struck out three and allowed two hits.

Notes:
- Franklin Pierce outhit Southern New Hampshire by an 11-9 margin. The Ravens stranded eight base runners on the day, while the Penmen left seven on the bags.

- Garczynski also pushed her hitting streak to five-straight games, with at least two knocks in three consecutive outings.
