GRAND LAKE, Colo. – Senior defender Adrianna Frattasio (Walpole, Mass.) of the Southern New Hampshire University women's lacrosse team was selected to play in the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) North/South All-Star Game on Friday.
Frattasio, who earned a Northeast-10 All-Conference Third Team nod earlier this month, started all 18 contests as the anchor to the Penmen defensive unit. The tri-captain tallied four points on a goal and an assist, while totaling 26 ground balls, 10 draw controls, and 20 caused turnovers. Frattasio, who finished the regular season ranked 13th in the league in caused turnovers, was also a huge part of the midfield transition game for the Penmen.
Southern New Hampshire finished 12-6 overall and earned the No. 5 seed in the Northeast-10 Championship after going 8-5 in league play. It marked the first NE-10 Championship berth for the Penmen since 2011, while the 12 wins were one shy of the program record of 13 victories from the 2009 season.
