The Southern New Hampshire University women's track and field program is set to open its third varsity season, and first full indoor track and field campaign…the Penmen registered a seventh-place finish at the 2017 Northeast-10 Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships, after they finished No. 12 at the Indoor Championships…Southern New Hampshire returns sophomore Alanna Murphy (Nashua, N.H.), who captured the 2017 Northeast-10 Conference Triple Jump Championship, and earned United States Track and Field Cross Country Coaches' Association (USTFCCCA) All-East Region accolades in the event…junior Ashley Elder (Bristol, Conn.) is also back for the Penmen after garnering All-Region laurels a season ago in the discus…Southern New Hampshire opens its 2017-18 schedule Saturday when it heads to the Smith Snowflake Classic at Smith College.
