Score: Southern New Hampshire University – 325 (16^th/16) 

Sophomore Matt Paradis (Hooksett, N.H.) shot a 75 as the Southern New Hampshire University men's golf team finished 16^th following the first round of the Newberry Invitational on Monday at the Ocean Course in Kiawah Island, S.C.

Paradis' 3-over placed him in a tie for 20^th. 

Senior John Clancy (Sandwich, Mass.) carded a 78 to tie for 41^st, while junior Sam Riemer (Canton, Mass.) opened his Penmen career with an 81 to tie for 64^th.

Junior Joshua LaCasse (Bow, N.H.) rounded out the Southern New Hampshire scorers with a 91. 

Notes:
-Sophomore Etienne Bourgoin (Abington, Mass.) totaled a 92, but did not factor in the team's score.
-The second round was suspended due to darkness and will resume Tuesday morning prior to the start of the third round.
-The University of Missouri-St. Louis is first after amassing a 292 to hold a one-stroke lead over host Newberry College and Clayton State University.
-Clayton State's Andres Caballero is the individual leader with a 5-under 67.
-The Newberry Invitational is comprised of 16 institutions and 81 student-athletes.
