Lorenzen Garners NE10 All-Conference Third Team Recognition

NORTHEAST-10 RELEASE

MANSFIELD, Mass. – Sophomore Kylie Lorenzen (Holliston, Mass.) of the Southern New Hampshire University women's basketball team was voted to the Northeast-10 All-Conference Third Team as the league office announced its end-of-the-year awards Friday.

Lorenzen, last season's NE10 Rookie of the Year, started all 28 contests and averaged 15.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.2 steals per game, while shooting at a 44.4 percent (142-320) clip from the field and 82.6 percent (133-161) from the stripe.

Lorenzen, who notched eight double-doubles during the season, scored in double figures 24 times, including six 20-point performances. Lorenzen dropped a career-high 30 points in a 77-67 win at Felician College on Dec. 14 and corralled a season-best 14 rebounds in a 65-56 victory at Franklin Pierce University on Nov. 22.

Lorenzen ranked second in the league in free throws made, third in free throw percentage, seventh in scoring, eighth in field goals made and 15th in both rebounding and shooting percentage.

The Penmen finished 11-17 on the season after starting 7-6 before the calendar flipped to 2017.
