Senior Matt Paradis (Hooksett, N.H.) and junior Garret Olivar (Manchester, N.H.) both carded a 1-over 73 in the opening round of the Le Moyne College Fall Invitational on Friday, as the Southern New Hampshire University men's golf team is tied for fourth at the Cavalry Club.

INDIVIDUAL SCORERS

• Paradis and Olivar are tied for 12^th and are seven shots off the pace.
• Freshman Matt Conti (Walpole, Mass.) is right behind in a 15^th-place tie with a 74.
• Junior Ryan Anderson (Beverly, Mass.) rounded out the Penmen scorers with a 78.

NOTES

• Freshman Brennan Hughes (Bedford, N.H.), who did not factor in the scoring, totaled a 79.
• Junior Drew Kane (Scarborough, Maine) and senior Tyler Silver (Lebanon, N.H.), both playing as individuals, each shot a 76.
• Junior Jacob Rosen (Johnston, R.I.) and senior Etienne Bourgoin (Abington, Mass.), also playing as individuals, recorded a 79 and 80, respectively.
• Laval University leads after 18 holes with a 1-under 287, which is one stroke ahead of Roberts Wesleyan College.
• Laval's Antoine Roy is atop the individual leaderboard with a 6-under 66 – four shots ahead of Saint Michael's College's Matt Johnson.
• The Le Moyne Fall Invitational is comprised of 74 student-athletes from 12 institutions.
