Notes: The Penmen head into Friday's matchup with the Falcons after dropping two of three to intracity rival Saint Anselm College. In Wednesday's series finale, the Hawks blanked Southern New Hampshire, 9-0, in a five-inning tilt that secured the season series for Saint Anselm. Freshmen Shay Sauvageau (Griswold, Conn.) went 1-for-2 in the contest with a double, which proved to be the lone Penmen hit on the afternoon. Senior Sarah Lavallee (Candia, N.H.) tossed the opening 2.2 innings and surrendered four runs on five hits before giving way to sophomore Maddy Barone (Halifax, Mass.), who allowed five unearned runs in an inning of work. Freshman Ali Atherton (Milford, Mass.) closed out the contest with a punchout.

Notes: The Falcons will be looking to right the ship after dropping four of their last five games, including a 1-0 loss to Assumption College on Wednesday. Sophomore Kayleigh Fitzpatrick (East Hampstead, N.H.) was on the wrong end of a pitchers' duel against the Greyhounds, as she went the distance and was saddled with the loss after allowing just one run. Sophomore Juliana Romero (Greenville, R.I.) provided half of the Bentley offense in the setback as she collected two of the four hits for Bentley in the contest including a double.
