Notes: The Penmen close out their four-game weekend slate against the Northeast-10 Conference Southwest Division with a pair of contests against Southern Connecticut State University on Sunday. Southern New Hampshire has won three of its first four games against the other side of the Divisional ledger, which includes a split of Saturday's doubleheader against the University of New Haven. Freshman Shay Sauvageau (Griswold, Conn.) delivered a go-ahead solo shot in the bottom of the sixth in Saturday's opener to lift the Penmen to a game one victory, 4-3. The Chargers used a two-run rally in their half of the sixth to knot the score at three apiece before Sauvageau's first career long ball reestablished the one-run cushion. Senior Sarah Lavallee (Candia, N.H.) improved to 10-2 in the circle after a complete-game effort that saw her fan four and scatter six hits.
