Senior Matt Paradis (Hooksett, N.H.) fired a 2-under 70 Monday to take individual medalist honors at the Franklin Pierce University Fall Invitational, while the Southern New Hampshire University men's golf team won a share of the crown at Keene Country Club.

INDIVIDUAL SCORERS

• Paradis finished with a 1-under 143 for the tournament, beating out Bentley University's Chris Simione by one stroke.
• Freshman Matt Conti (Walpole, Mass.) carded a 76 in the final round, tying for eighth, overall, with a 6-over 150.
• Junior Drew Kane (Scarborough, Maine) placed 11^th, as his 77 landed him at a 151 for the two rounds.
• Senior Etienne Bourgoin (Abington, Mass.) also shot a 77 and finished tied for 15^th at 153.

NOTES

• Junior Garret Olivar (Manchester, N.H.) did not factor into the scoring with his second straight 79.
• Paradis's eight birdies put him second in the tournament behind Post University's Anthony Guerra (9).
• SNHU's 300 in the final round gave it a total of 597, which was matched by Franklin Pierce following its 294 Monday.
• The Penmen were playing as the defending FPU Fall Invitational Champions.
• The Franklin Pierce Fall Invitational was comprised of 60 student-athletes from 11 institutions.
